The Green Ribbon zine:
Two renditions of a story inspired by a “French tale of unknown origin.” The Green Ribbon was written by Alvin Schwartz in 1984, about a girl whose head was held together by a green ribbon. And The Adventure of the German Student written by Washington Irving in 1824, tells of a young boy’s road to insanity during the Reign of Terror in Paris.
